Sania Mirza and Cara Black wins WTA Finals Title
Sania Mirza and Cara Black won WTA finals title on Sunday in Singapore.
They had won jointly in another two events in 2013, one in Tokyo and another in Beijing.
They achieved this with a record score of 6-1 6-0 in an hour over Su-Wei Hseih of Chinese Taipei and Shuai Peng of China.
This is the second victory of the duo on Hseih and Peng.
The duo though lost their first game, ultimately won the Martina Navratilova Trophy in Singapore.
It was the heftiest defeat ever since the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) was founded in 1973.
This match will be the last time playing together for the duo as Cara announced her sit out for this coming season of 2015 to spend more time with her family.
And Sania will pair with Su-Wei Hseih Chinese Taipei in the 2015 season.
