eVidyaloka helps Rural Children in getting Quality Education

eVidyaloka is a non-profit organization to provide quality education to rural children. It was founded in Bangalore by Satish Viswanathan and Venkat Sriraman aiming to fill the gaps in Indian education system. Currently, Indian system faces two main challenges: Shortage of teachers and quality teaching. Majority of the learning system is below the threshold especially in rural areas. eVidyaloka’s purpose is to find out a solution to these problems.

To achieve this, they involve local communities to have their own digital class rooms and provide necessary teaching kit and lesson plans to teach the children from their place. Any graduate with PC, Webcam, headsets and Broadband can join in their network. The aspirant volunteers must have strong passion to teach children and provide quality education with patience and responsibility. There is no need to change one’s activities to join in this as it involves online teaching in spare timings. Thus, they inspire the volunteers to join and contribute towards achieving their aims.
