Sania Mirza declares herself A Proud Indian after winning US Open mixed-Doubles along with Bruno Soares
SaniaMirza, the brand ambassador of Telangana declares herself as “a proud Indian” after winning the US Open mixed-doubles with her Brazilian partner Bruno Soares. The pair defeated American Abigail Spears and Mexico’s Santiago Gonazalez 6-1, 2-6, 11-9.
Sania and Bruno were leading by five champion points after they managed to score 9-4. After several errors made by them, their opponents Abigail Spears and Santiago Gonzalez made it to 9-9. However, at this point, Sania and Bruno managed to defeat their opponents. Sania has stated that she and her partner were positive till the last moment. Sania dedicated this victory to everybody in India, and to her state Telangana and all its people.
